[Letter, 1780?] Jun. 30 [to] Mr. Quakenboss / A. Hamilton.

Hamilton's letter is likely of 1780 as he mentions a letter of Mr. Loudon with whom he corresponded in 1780-1781. It is addressed to Mr. Quakenboss, likely Hendrick Quackenbush, an Albany, N.Y. businessman. Hamilton mentions General Philip John Schuyler, a general in the American Revolution and Senator from New York State. Hamilton married Schuyler's daughter, Elizabeth, in Dec. 1780. Hamilton appears to inquire of Quakenboss about a mattress and "other little articles."
